CITY SQUARE USE

If you want to use the city square for a fundraising event, you must contact the City Secretary to confirm you are able to do the fundraiser and to reserve the date. 936-347-2201.

GREENWOOD STREET SEWER PROJECT UPDATE

Planning and Design Phase has been completed.

Bidding for Construction will begin soon.

Project should be completed by Summer 2024.

City Council has approved temporary, minor street repairs.

ROLLOFF CONTAINER

Lilly Sanitation will be providing a roll off container on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 8 A.M. until Noon or until full at City Hall. If you have questions regarding what items can be disposed, please contact 936-347-2000.

NOTICE:  ALL NEW SERVICE TAPS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND ALL TRAILER HOUSES PLACED INSIDE THE CITY LIMITS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL BEFORE MOVING THE HOUSE IN.

Friendly Reminders

The Road Maintenance Fees are not voluntary fees and the City Council placed a threshold of $50 on unpaid Road Maintenance Fees before utility disconnects.

Please do not flush disposable wipes or other objects down the toilet. This causes issues within our sewer system. Thanks!
